We are pleased to welcome you to the webpages of the Arts Division and we invite you to use these pages as a source of information on the wide variety of federal funding programmes for all segments of contemporary art including the performing and fine arts, music and literature, film, new media, photography, architecture and design. Our aim is to give visitors to our webpages an overview of the Austrian system of funding for the arts and to provide them with detailed information on the available grants and subsidies, relevant legislation, background information and other useful links.

Despite the fact that, with the amendment to Federal Ministries Act (Federal Law Gazette I No. 6/2007) taking effect on 1 March 2007, the Arts Division became part of the Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture, we can still be reached at our old addresses until further notice.
