Development of Education in Austria 1997-2000

The publication consists of two parts.

The first part "Organisation and structure of the education system" was prepared for the EURYDICE-publication „Structures of the general education and initial training systems of the European Union“ and was taken over into the present publication. EURYDICE is the education information network of the European Union.

"Development of education 1997 – 2000": The data for the descriptions of the second part were collected on the basis of the yearly contributions of departments of the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture to the editions 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 of the Austrian Yearbook .
