Kongress "Probebühne Zukunft: Schule und interkutureller Dialog"
(Wien, 28. bis 31. 10. 2008)

Aus Anlass des Europäischen Jahres des interkulturellen Dialogs veranstaltet das Bundesministerium für Unterricht, Kunst und Kultur vom 28. bis zum 31. Oktober 2008 den Kongress "Probebühne Zukunft: Schule und interkultureller Dialog".

Vom 28. bis zum 31. Oktober 2008 werden im Europahaus in Wien geladene Gäste aus den Bildungsressorts der EU-Mitgliedsstaaten sowie MultiplikatorInnen aus dem Schulbereich und VertreterInnen von Sozialpartnerschaft und NGOs aus Österreich gemeinsam mit WissenschaftlerInnen zu Fragen der interkulturellen Bildung in Dialog treten.

Die Auseinandersetzung mit verschiedenen Aspekten interkultureller Bildung soll dem Aufbau eines europäischen Netzwerks dienen und in die schulische Praxis einfließen.

Convention "Rehearsing the Future: Schools and Intercultural Dialogue"
(Vienna, October 28 to 31, 2008)

During the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture will be hosting the international convention “Rehearsing the Future: Schools and Intercultural Dialogue”.

Experts from all over Europe will come together at the “Europahaus Wien” event centre from October 28 to October 31, 2008 to discuss issues relating to intercultural education joining Austrian academics, professional development facilitators from schools, representatives of the social partners and NGOs, as well as education spokespersons of the parties represented in the Austrian Parliament.

The intensive debate about the manifold facets of intercultural education is to help build up a European network of experts and to be incorporated in daily school work.
